Guest Profile: Ellie Pechet
Author of HITCHING A RIDE: A Guide to Earthbound Spirits and How They Affect You. Born and raised in the Boston area, Ellie was destined to become the gifted metaphysician, medium, shaman, and author she is today, for she was just two years old when her maternal grandmother opened her “third eye.” Early in life, she realized that her mission was to help people heal and become empowered so that they could be more fully aligned with their purpose in this incarnation.
Her career in counseling began in her 20s, when she provided talk therapy in an inpatient psychiatric facility. Although successful in this, Ellie’s intuition guided her to greater purpose by such disciplines as Reiki (becoming a Master), E.M.F. (certified in Electro-Magnetic Field balancing) and the Yuen Method of Healing (as a certified practitioner). Incorporating these three healing modalities into her heightened intuitive counseling, it became apparent that she was transforming into much more than a traditional talk therapist. Ellie realized her innate abilities as a powerful medium and shaman and incorporated these skills into her metaphysical healing practice.
With her profound appreciation of the Divine connection in all people, pets, and wildlife—and by now having earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling—Ellie dedicated herself to perfecting her skills and intuitive tools, culminating in the creation of the Pechet Healing Technique, recognized as one of the most effective, efficient, healing programs known internationally for its remarkable success rate in eliminating emotional and physical issues.
As her reputation blossomed, Ellie was featured as a guest on such popular radio programs as The Organic Thinking Show, The Healthy Living Show, and The Connect Show, television programs like The Living Your Dreams Show and The AZTV Morning Scramble, podcast and YouTube interviews too numerous to list, and a two-time keynote speaker at the Afterlife Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. With all of that and even more, Ellie still managed to create the time to write a ground-breaking book, Hitching A Ride: A Guide to Earthbound Spirits and How They Affect You, a compendium of inspirational case studies of people being affected by earthbound spirits and other entities.
