Dr. Daniel J. Crisafi PhD, MH

Born and raised in Montréal, Daniel studied and undertook postgraduate and graduate studies in the United States. He has earned a bachelor’s degree, a Master’s of Science and a PhD in Nutrition. Dr. Crisafi has also obtained a naturopathic degree as well as a Master Herbalist degree.

Dr. Crisafi was a member of the advisory board of the Canadian Council of Continuing Education for Pharmacist’s Power of Herbs course. He is a former vice-president of the École d’Enseignement Supérieur de Naturopathie du Québec and a former member of the advisory board of the Université des Sciences de L’Homme de Paris. Most recently, Dr. Crisafi was also vice-chair of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA).

Daniel has received two honorary degrees, including one from the École d’Enseignement Supérieur de Naturopathie du Québec for his contribution in the advancement of naturopathy in that province as well as an award from the Canadian Natural Health Society for his humanitarian work in promoting health.

Daniel has lectured extensively, at McGill, Concordia, Toronto, Ottawa and Florida Atlantic Universities. He has also been a regular speaker at the Canadian Health Food Association conventions twice yearly.

Author of several books and former editor-in-chief of Vitalité Québec and Health N Vitality magazines, Dr. Crisafi is author of the first Canadian book on candidiasis (Candida Albicans- EdiForma) in 1987.
